In this session, Candace demystifies the financial reset needed to confidently step into homeownership, without abandoning your dream of becoming a rentalpreneur. Attendees will learn how to rebuild their financial foundation, structure their credit and savings with intention, and strategically position themselves to purchase a primary home that also accelerates their path to investment property ownership. This talk empowers future buyers to make smart, long-term decisions that support both stability and generational wealth. Cancellation Policy

1. Client-Initiated Cancellation More than 60 days before the event: Client may cancel with no additional fees; however, the non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) will be retained. 31–60 days before the event: Client is responsible for 50% of the remaining balance. 30 days or fewer before the event: Client is responsible for 100% of the speaking fee, as the date has been fully reserved. 2. Rescheduling Policy Client may request a reschedule once at no additional charge if the request is made more than 45 days prior to the event and the new date is mutually agreed upon. Rescheduling within 45 days of the event will incur a 20% rescheduling fee, and the new date must be within 12 months of the original date. If a new date cannot be mutually agreed upon within 30 days of the rescheduling request, the change will be treated as a cancellation. 3. Travel & Lodging Costs If the client cancels after travel has been booked, the client is responsible for reimbursing: Any non-refundable travel expenses (airfare, hotel, transportation), and Any change or cancellation fees issued by travel providers. 4. Event Format Changes If the event shifts from in-person to virtual due to client decisions: Fees may be adjusted at Candace’s discretion. If the in-person date was reserved exclusively, the in-person fee still applies unless both parties agree otherwise. 5. Speaker-Initiated Cancellation If Candace must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond her control: She will provide as much notice as possible, Offer the option to reschedule, or Provide a full refund of any fees paid if rescheduling is not possible. Candace will also make reasonable efforts to recommend a vetted alternate speaker, if desired. 6. Force Majeure Neither party is liable for cancellations caused by events outside reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions). In these cases, both parties will work in good faith to reschedule.
